Understanding UHSAA Athletic Eligibility

UHSAA eligibility will automatically be transferred to Skyridge High School for all students who:

  • live in Skyridge boundaries or received an ASD out-of-area waiver, AND…
  • previously established their eligibility at Lehi High, AND…
  • are enrolled at Skyridge High School on June 1, 2016.

Students are subject to the UHSAA transfer of eligibility rules and must work with that organization to transfer their eligibility to Skyridge who:

  • received an out-of-area contract to enroll at Skyridge from a school other than Lehi High School, AND…
  • previously established their UHSAA eligibility at another school (excluding Lehi High).

Student Council Process for Skyridge High School

A mandatory PARENT MEETING will be held on Wednesday, February 24, at 6pm in the Media Center at Lehi High for students interesting in participating on the 2016-2017 Skyridge Student Council AND their parents. Applications and information packets will be handed out, and your questions will be answered by current student council members and advisers.

The following ELECTED positions are available:

  • President (Senior only)
  • VP/Homecoming (Senior only)
  • Secretary/Academic VP (Senior Only)
  • Extracurricular VP (Sports Marketing)
  • Service VP
  • Communication VP
  • Clubs VP
  • Senior Class President
  • Senior VP (College Prep)
  • Senior Secretary (Service)
  • Junior President
  • Junior VP (Knowledge Bowl)
  • Junior Secretary (Service)

The following APPOINTED positions are available:

  • Sophomore Representatives (3 positions)
  • Freshmen Representatives (3 positions)
  • Marketing–School Decorator
  • Marketing–Social Media
  • Historian/Photographer
  • Fine Arts Rep./Director
  • Intramural Director
  • Mascot
  • Resource Manager/Artisan
  • Spirit Squad Rep.
  • Technician

Important Deadlines and Registration Information

All future Skyridge students should have received the registration information for the 2016-2017 school year. Skyridge counselors will be available from noon- 1pm on THURSDAY, February 4 in the writing lab at Lehi High School to answer any questions about the course request process. Current Juniors (Class of 2017): Course requests need to be completed on Skyward by 2:30pm on Friday, February 5. In addition, a paper copy of all course requests must be submitted to the Counseling Center at Lehi High School by that time. Current Sophomores (Class of 2018): Course requests need to be completed on Skyward by 2:30pm on Friday, February 5. In addition, a paper copy of all course requests must be submitted to the Counseling Center at Lehi High School by that time. Current 9th grade students (Class of 2019): The Skyward portal is now open for course requests. Course requests need to be completed on Skyward by 3pm on Friday, February 12. In addition, a paper copy of all course requests must be submitted to the Counseling Center at the school you currently attend (Lehi Junior or Willowcreek Middle). Counselors will be available to answer questions on Wednesday, February 10, from 3-7pm during Parent-Teacher Conferences in the Counseling Center at Lehi High School. Current 8th grade students (Class of 2020): The Skyward portal is now open for course requests. Course requests need to be completed on Skyward by 3pm on Friday, February 12. In addition, a paper copy of all course requests must be submitted to the Counseling Center at the school you currently attend (Lehi Junior or Willowcreek Middle). Additional PARENT MEETINGS will be held: Wednesday, February 10, at 7pm in the auditorium at Lehi Junior High; Thursday, February 11, at 6:30pm in the auditorium at Willowcreek Middle School; and Friday, February 12, at 7AM (yes, that is in the morning) in the auditorium at Lehi Junior High. Sophomore (Class of 2019) Registration Information

Here is the information presented in the assemblies held at Lehi Junior High and Willowcreek Middle School on Wednesday, February 3, for the Class of 2019. Registration Information for Non-ASD Students

Those students who live within the Skyridge boundaries who are not currently registered at an Alpine School District School will need to complete a “New Student Registration” packet before they can complete the course request/registration process. These packets are available from the COUNSELING OFFICE at Lehi High, Lehi Junior High, and Willowcreek Middle School. Please be prepared to submit the following:

  • New Student Registration Form
  • Birth Certificate (original or certified copy)
  • Student Health Form
  • Immunization Record
  • Proof of Residency (utility bill, lease or purchase agreement, etc.)
  • Custody Agreement (if applicable)

Junior (Class of 2018) Registration Information
