SCHOOL PICTURE DAYS

By blog

School pictures will be taken August 31-September 6. The schedule is determined by which ENGLISH teacher the student has. We’re excited to be using a great company called FotoFly do our pictures. Each student will have one traditional yearbook photo and those buying pictures will have also have one Y.U.R.U. photo – an opportunity to show what makes them unique. Students should be prepared to bring a prop on their picture day (like a musical instrument, football, something that represents a hobby, etc.) so they can show off what makes them original. Click here for some ideas! FotoFly student picture samples

We are excited for our first day of school EVER at Skyridge on Monday, August 22. On Mondays, school starts at 7:45am and ends at 1:15pm. Tuesdays through Fridays, school hours are 7:45am-2:15pm.

Our faculty and staff have been working hard to prepare everything for our students, but we know that everything will not be perfect. Please be patient with us as we work through some of the ‘new school glitches.’ Student learning and safety comes first!

To help make the first day of school go more smoothly for your student, please encourage them to print a copy of their schedule from Skyward to carry with them until they are more familiar with the school layout.
