SKYRIDGE UPDATES, JULY 7

By July 7, 2016blog

Counseling/Class Change Requests: Because of the Districtwide student rollover in Skyward, parents and students will have limited access to their accounts for the next few weeks. Schedules will not be accessible until Monday, August 1. We will be allowing class changes in the Counseling Offices at Skyridge High School during the second week of August. More information about specific dates and times will be available at the end of July.

Counselors will continue to review the course change requests that were submitted via the Google Form throughout the summer. If the counselors have specific questions or need clarification, they will contact you directly using the information that was provided.

Athletics: ALL students who intend to try out for any of the Skyridge athletic programs will need to complete registration through “Register My Athlete.” Because we are a new school, EVERY STUDENT will need to register, EVEN IF THEY WERE PREVIOUSLY REGISTERED AT ANOTHER SCHOOL (including Lehi High). You can access the site here: Register My Athlete. There is a 3 1/2 minute tutorial video that you can watch here: Click here for Register My Athlete Tutorial

Men’s Golf: Tryouts, July 28-30 at the Thanksgiving Point Golf Course. Students should arrive at 1pm for pairings, and will golf 9 holes each day, beginning at 2pm. Each player will be able to drop their highest nine hole round of the three days, keeping the two best nine-hole scores. Players must have two nine hole rounds completed within the three days and time frame to be eligible for the tryout (if players can’t play all three days, two days of scores will count). Each nine hole round the player will be walking, no carts allowed. Students need to register on Register My Athlete before trying out. Those who would like to try out are also encouraged to help with the PGA Tournament being held at Thanksgiving Point July 21-24. Those who would like to try out are encouraged to take part in this great volunteering opportunity.
