Our offices will be closed on Monday, July 25 in observance of the Utah state holiday. We will reopen on Tuesday, July 26 at 8am. On Friday, July 29, there will be a complete districtwide outage involving phone, network, and internet services. Also, please note that the entire Skyridge facility will be closed on Thursday, August 4 for the final fire marshal inspection.
Back to School Night: Thursday, August 18 from 3-6pm. This will be an opportunity for students to meet and visit with their teachers and find their classrooms.
Community Open House: Saturday, August 13 from 1-4:30pm (subject to change pending fire marshal final inspection). More details coming soon.
Counseling: Our counselors will return to the office on Monday, August 8. New student registration will take place August 8-16 by appointment only. Appointments can be scheduled beginning August 1 at 801-610-8820. New Student Registration forms are available in the Main Office during regular business hours (Monday-Friday, 8am-3pm except holidays) and should be completed and turned in to the school prior to August 8 so that students can be added to Skyward. Class changes will be made with the student’s counselors by appointment only from August 8-16. The online scheduler to make appointments for class changes will be available beginning Monday, August 1 at 8am.
Cheer Mini-Camp: Skyridge Cheerleaders will offer a mini-cheer camp for preschool through 6th grade aged children from 4:30-6:30pm on August 30 and September 1 in the dance room at Skyridge High School. Registration begins at 4pm on August 30, but to PRE-REGISTER and pay the $40 fee, go to: My School Fees For more information, visit Skyridge Cheer Participants will perform at the varsity football game on Friday, September 2 at Skyridge High School.
Drill: The Skyridge Drill Team will be holding a golf tournament on Saturday, August 13 at Fox Hollow Golf Course. For more information and to pre-register, visit Skyridge Drill Team. The cost is $85 per person, which includes 18 holes, cart, breakfast, lunch, and prizes. The format is 4-man scramble. To pay, visit My School Fees under PUBLIC ITEMS.

Football: Orange/Grey scrimmage, Saturday, August 13, 5pm on the Skyridge field. The season opener will be held on Thursday, August 18 at 7pm against Ridgeline High School at Skyridge High School. The game will also be televised on KJZZ-TV.
Golf: Tryouts will be held Thursday, July 28 through Saturday, July 30 at the Thanksgiving Point Golf Course. Students should arrive at 1pm for pairings and will golf 9 holes each day, beginning at 2pm. Each player will be able to drop their highest nine hole round of the three days, keeping the two best nine-hole scores. Players must have two nine hole rounds completed within the three days and time frame to be eligible for the tryout (if players can’t play all three days, two days of scores will count). Players will be walking; no carts allowed. Students need to register on Register My Athlete before trying out.
Lockers: All freshmen and sophomore students will be assigned a locker. Lockers for junior and senior students are optional. All students will be sharing lockers. To select a locker partner, please complete the form found here: Locker partner request form Students will have the opportunity to select a locker partner within their own grade level. Students will have to use their Alpine School District email addresses (i.e. email@example.com) to make these locker partner requests. Student email addresses are the first five letters of their last name, followed by the first three letters of their first name, followed by three numbers. (same as Skyward login) If your student has not received an ASD email address yet, or if they can’t remember their login, they will be able to make the request in person from Tuesday, July 26 at 8am through Monday, August 15 at 2pm.
Register My Athlete: ALL students who intend to try out for any of the Skyridge athletic programs will need to complete registration through “Register My Athlete.” Because we are a new school, EVERY STUDENT will need to register, EVEN IF THEY WERE PREVIOUSLY REGISTERED AT ANOTHER SCHOOL (including Lehi High). Soccer: Those interested in trying out for Women’s Soccer need to register at Register My Athlete. (for tutorial, see above) Please fill out the Tryout Checklist found in Register My Athlete. Volleyball: Everyone needs a current physical for tryouts (physical forms are good for one year). On July 28, prospective volleyball players can obtain a physical exam for $20 from the team doctors (Advanced Physicians of Sports and Orthopedics, 3401 N Center St #100, Lehi, UT 84043) from 10am-1pm, OR students can obtain a physical through their regular physician. Tryouts will be held August 8 and 9.
